As one of Chicago’s oldest areas of the city, it’s no surprise that Old Town tells many tales of our city’s past. From immigration history to the Great Chicago Fire, from prohibition and speakeasies to movements in music and art, this engaging walking tour explores the history of the neighborhood via three of its wonderfully historic bars.

We end our experience at the Old Town Ale House, a bar beloved by the late Anthony Bourdain. This special version of the tour concludes with a chat with Bruce Elliott of the Ale House. Bruce will share some stories about the bar, his art, and his friend Tony.

$20. Ticket price includes three bars, a special discount at one saloon, and a whole lot of fun and history. Drinks on you. 21+ only.

Purchase tickets via Venmo (no fee) or via NightOut (small fee).
